PRESENTATION:  Every year, thousands of individuals in recovery are denied housing every year because they are utilizing medications in their journey to recovery. This webinar will introduce you to the necessity and value of permitting Medication Assisted Recovery in Recovery Housing. In this webinar you will learn about the science of how medications help facilitate recovery, what Recovery Houses can do in developing plans to support these individuals, and you will get to listen to two individuals whose experience supports this approach.

As a result of this training participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the science of how the brain is affected by substance use disorders and why MAT is critical in mediating recovery;
