A 5-Hour Training with Raymond Anderson

November 30, 2022

8:30am–3pm

*this training will be remote only*

PRESENTATION: This one-day training is designed to provide a broad overview of the Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA). Much of CRA centers around making non-use more valuable and rewarding than using behavior. On one hand, measures are taken to reduce use, and on the other, increasing competing pleasurable behaviors. With CRA, we think of squeezing the addiction out from the inside so it has no place to live. A few of the tools will be discussed and their rationale. There will be an opportunity for skill-practice and real-time feedback. All attendees receive a customized electronic Training handout as part of the training.

Following the completion of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Define the Community Reinforcement Approach
  • Compare the Functional Analysis Forms and when to use them
  • Utilize the Happiness Scale in developing CRA Goal Setting
